1.This configuration will REDUCE your game play image quality but IMPROVE the game play speed.


2.This Tutorial has been tested on Windows XP (99% Working) and Increase 50~120% from previous game play.

3.This Tutorial has been tested and can be used to Counter Strike 1.6, Condition Zero and Source.

4.This tutorial only used as guidance and information. There no other means making this tutorial.

------------------STEPS------------------



1.Run hl2.exe or Counter Strike Source.exe

:Click Option>Video (And Audio)

:Change EVERY setting to lowest quality (ex.High->Low and Enable->Disable)



2.Input following script code on CS game

:fps_max 400

You can put more than 400 to achieve more maximum fps but do not exceed more than 900. It may cause crash to computer.



3.Right-Click Desktop -> Properties -> Setting -> Advanced

:Then click your graphic cards (You can find your graphic cards info at http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

:On the Left-Side, Click Performance & Quality Setting

:In Global driver setting box, scroll down to find Vertical Sync

:Click Vertical Sync and un-tick Application-Controlled then apply.



4.Open Control Panel->System->Advanced->Setting(Performance Box)

:Click Adjust for best performance

:Click Advanced->Change

:Change your own Virtual Memory (Virtual RAM/HDD) at custom size box.The more memory you set for each
drive will allow your computer to run faster.(Virtual RAM has less performance effect than physical RAM)

Console command is like , the Windows Command Prompt . There are command that can give extra boost and smoother network for the game . By following the listed command , your game might be as smooth as it is been used on high-quality internet . Also by executing this command , you will have standard / default setting of most of the major competitive league setting . To access console command , please locate the "~" button . Normally it is above the "TAB" button .

While ingame , you often been PM'ed by your friend either via IM or Steam Community . And doing this will decrease the ingame performance overall . So , prevent it by

"telling to your friend that you are ingame and playing , contact later"

"ignore it for while"

"block him/her if they keep spamming yourself"

By doing it , the game won't loss network performance much by 60%, less lag and choke-less .

*Choke means while you ingame , it stuck for few second and then back to normal.
*Lag means slow internet performance / slow ingame performance and disturb your gaming pleasure.

- 128 MB Graphic Card with Pixel Shader 1.0 above
- 1 GB RAM
- 120 GB Hard Drive space
- Windows XP / 2000 / Vista with latest Service Pack
- 800x600 resolution with 32-bit / 16-bit
- Broadband Connection up to 512kbps
- Still good condition mouse , keyboard , stereo speaker/headset .

Minimum specification is ,

- 32 MB Graphic Card
- 512 MB RAM
- 60 GB Hard Drive space
- Windows XP / 2000
- 640x460 resolution with 16-bit
- Broadband Connection up to 256kbps
- Good condition of mouse , keyboard , stereo speaker/headset .

+ Graphic card such as Nvidia and ATi provide consumer with good quality graphic card .
+ Using gaming equipment like Razer , Logitech and etc. is recommended if you want becoming professional in Counter-Strike .
+ Any mouse are fine , as long it is optical-based mouse .
+ Using gaming / high-quality mousepad are recommended to have better accuracy .
